from rubber to boot

Different producers have their share in the final product. The FairTradeCenter Breisgau coordinates these projects in collaboration with the Fair Rubber Association.

This means in the case of our GREEN&FAIR rubber boots for example to get the raw material of three suppliers to the production facility in Sri Lanka (DSI).

  • the FSC® rubber from the Frocester Estate (Sri Lanka)
  • the organic cotton from South India
  • the packaging made out of recycled rice sacs from Shanthimalai (South India)

When all materials have arrived, the employees turn them by hand into our readily packaged GREEN&FAIR rubber boots.
